VDNH is a unique place. It holds a lot of museum and exhibition projects, international business fairs and congresses, festivals and celebrations. The exhibition complex was opened in 1939. Its name has been changed many times. In 2016 the territory of the complex was fully renovated. VDNH became truly the main exhibition complex of the country showcasing all the most interesting things of Russia.

It is the main educational, entertainment, cultural, museum and recreational complex of the country. It has several zones:

1. Central alley with Museum City exhibition hall

2. All season Theme amusement park with roller coasters

3. Park of Knowledge

4. Landscape Park

5. Park of Handcrafts

6. EXPO zone

7. Ostankino park VDNH has preserved architectural monuments of different historic periods and styles.

What to see:

·Worker and Kolkhoz Woman monument;

·Friendship of Nations and Stone Flower fountains;

·Pavilion of Agriculture (former pavilion of the Ukrainian SSR), Pavilion of Culture (former pavilion of the Uzbek SSR), Space Pavilion.
