Historical Museum itself is part of history because it is more than 140 years old already! Collection of the State Historical Museum includes archaeological findings, manuscripts, ancient printed books, ancient icons, West European and Russian war and hunting arms, hand-forged items, scientific instruments, jewelry, glassware and ceramics, collection of traditional folk clothes, collection of countryside estate furniture and many more. Halls of the museum decorated with stucco work, carvings and frescoes are works of art in itself.
